Electronics Bay

Assembled the electronics bay today, shown here on the left. Everything fitted together quite nicely, the next stage now being to populate the board with the basic components just to get the robot running around.

Elec-Eng has recently purchased a PCB manufacturing machine, and they take delivery on Thursday week. Once the basics are ironed out, proper PCB's can be made for the robot.

Electronics Bay Components

Shown here area ll the components for the electronics module. At the bottom are the electronic "trays" to be used for components. In the centre are (from left to right) plastic stand-offs, usb-to-serial mount , GPS grippers and the usb camera mount. On top are the base and cover components.
